Just hangs? It doesn't prompt you about modules?

If there's one recurring problem I've had with any linux distrobution,
and in particular the boot-off-a-CD flavors, it's the CD-drive. If the
CD-drive is not a good one, the booting will get so far, and then hang,
or have other spastic problems. With the BDI-Live, unless I use one of
the 'good' CD-drives, it always has an error during module initialization.
