I did see a spindle design that was really just two caged ball bearings in a
tube sized for the outer diameter of the bearings which had an I/D of a std
stock silver steel precision ground rod which was held in place by grubcrews
rings top and bottom, the design was used to mill 8mm alloy. Access to a
lathe is that is necessary to build it.If thats of any help?.
