Ron,

This post was very timely for me as I was just looking at these ball screws
a few days back. Did you suggest these because of Johns requirement to only
run 300 hours? I am new to ball screws but figured they were much more
expensive (like the corrosion resistant ones). I guess my question comes
down to wether or not the corrosion resistant ball screws are normally used
in a home cnc shop?

Check out McMaster Carr #5966k26 and #5966k16 for an inexspensive
5/8" ball screw.
