Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Need a vacuum system for acrylic sheets

Kevin,

what are the size of the parts? How many of the same parts would you be
cutting?

What type material are you cutting?

Basically you have two types of vacuum systems. One is the high vacuum low
flow system and the other is the high flow lower vacuum. For the high flow
system the vacuum should be around 15".

For the high vacuum you are not allowed any leakage. For the high vacuum, I
have some die cut flat rubber circles. Actually it is a series of circles
with the largest being about 4" in diameter. This gives me the support and
in my case when I am cutting plastic sheet a way to seal the plastic to the
seal and the seal has a sticky surface that is applied to the melamine type
surface. I then have a hole inside the circle that goes back to the vacuum
system.

There is a way to do it, so don't give up yet.
