Hello,
I have seen systems that used "vane type pumps" for drawing a volume
of higher vacuum than you can get in a wet vac. Gates or Gast was
the name on the side of the pumps I think. I have also seen the use
of an accumulater tank to help store a large volume of vacuum (not
that you can store a large volume of nothing, but you know what I
mean) for vacuum thermal forming machines.
