Bil,
I wonder if you have got the wrong end of the stick here. I understand you have Camtronics stepper drivers. These take step and direction codes from a control program like Stepster etc.
What you are looking at is a feeder program for a control program which out-puts G-code. If what ever control program you settle on has an Editor you can insert G-code by hand and cut out the CAD/CAM package which is what you are looking at in www.cadem.com

I have Dan's 5 Amp controller, so I would still need a CAM program of some
kind in between, is that what there DNC program is? The CAPSturn/mill seems
to be aimed at specific manufactures machines, I don't know if it will do
step and direction, for a generic machine, I have written to them once but no
answer, thus my questions here.
