I'm new here, but if I could venture a guess..., the program could be
addressing some memory segment that doesn't exist in some of the
computers (either isn't installed, or is turned off in the BIOS).

Barring that, it could be an OS address problem - what are the
configurations of the various machines that it runs/doesn't run on?

I will find the pin out for the cable and post it soon.

One thing strange about this drip feed program, I
have about five different PCs up and running around the house
with different OSs loaded, when I try running this program on some
of the PC it will give an error and line number on which the error
occured and
quit.
Original source code was Basic or Qbasic, I do not have. I am at a loss

at to why it
runs on some PCs but not others. Anything to look for here?
