Yes...Maybe for a minute or for years.

I would keep the voltage down at 70 or 75v below the Gecko's
recommended voltage ceiling of 80v. You could probably exceed your
car's redline by 500 RPM without breaking it...but for how long?

If you need to run at 88v, buy a Rutex 990 rated at 100v/20A.
