I have one more DeskCNC question, well two actually. First, what type
of encoder does it need for the lathe spindle in order to do single
point threading? Say I buy the software/driver etc, what else will I
need to be able to cut threads.
Secondly, it says it needs to have the same pitch leadscrew on the X
and Y axis in order to do circular interpolation, if it doesnt have
them, will it just not make circles or does it screw up 3d contouring
as well? What if the z axis pitch is different than the X & Y, will
that hinder 3d even if the X & Y are the same?
