STL is of course extension for stereolitography machine and you can transfer eny model to this format. Export option to stl you have in Pro/enginner and Catia (it works really good)
By the way i mayby you have any information about conferters and similar program stl extension to G-code. I am willing for building big stereolitograph and there are no any problem but i didnt find yet program for this. did you heard about ?
