The EMC group is still very active, both in terms of developing the code, and
in using it - The BDI disk has also undergone a significant update and now
includes a full 3D CAD/CAM package.
Most discussions take place on the emc-users list over at Sourceforge, so for
up to date info, you may want to subscribe there..
