I scraped my Grizzley mini mill. There are some photos on my web page,

Scraping requires a known flat surface to test against. You test,
scrape, test, scrape, until you get tired of the whole process. Its hard
to tell when to stop, you scrape off some, then blue it and test. But
now you have a bunch of high marks, so you scrape them off, but of
course you want to see if you got them, so you blue again. But now you
have a bunch of marks that you ought to scrape off and you go back
around the loop.
