I thought I might also add that, for very worn surfaces anyway, it
is also possible to build surfaces back up using a product such as
Moglice. See www.moglice.com for a whole slew of machine
reconditioning applications, including building up ways.

I just received some today and plan on using it to eliminate
backlash on my Sherline system.

I have no connection to any company that distributes or manufactures

information.
