Hello Mark,

A SCSI drive can be a problem with running EMC. I installed EMC and
TurboCnc on a machine with a SCSI hard drive. Both installed and ran
without complaint. However, machining was very erratic. Lots of pauses
causing stalling probably due to unsuppressable hardware interrupts.

The TurboCnc authors warn not to use SCSI hard drives. I think that the
EMC authors also issue the same warning.

SCSI does not account for your installation problems but you might be
beating a dead horse if it won't run ok after you get a successful
install.
