Power Supply

Im building a new driver box for my mill. I will have 3 geckos and a
pmdx breakout board in the box.

I have a couple transformers on hand, 24v at 6 amp. Id like a bit more
current. I see two chioces,

1) parallel the transformer secondary windings, into one bridge rectifier.

2) hook each transformer to its own bridge, then tie the 2 DCs together.
I suppose a variant on this would be to add diodes to each DC so neither
can feedback into the other.

Any reason to choose either option? Both transformers are identical,
within mfg tolerances.
