Hi, Newbie #2 here :-)
question. Both works, but steppers are simpler to deal with and cheaper.
Disclaimer: I _can_ be wrong, hence newbie! :P
The seller says its in good condition, but how can I make sure?
And how much precision is there in a ways vs linear bearings system?
I can ofcourse tighten the ways until it doesnt move then its stable, but
hard to make any parts that way! So I loose the ways screws and accept that
X and Y have some slop. How much? Should the ways be constantly oiled?
> What are the in's and out's of servo vs stepper? From what I understand there is no simple answer to the servo vs stepper
question. Both works, but steppers are simpler to deal with and cheaper.
