Re: Laser mouse based DRO

Matt,
A quick read seems to indicate that the new sensor outputs a serial
data stream. This would make it a good replacement for Chinese calipers
but not a direct encoder replacement :-(. The older (lower CPI) sensor
output A/B pulses like an encoder.
