Alan,
I can understand that, but I still keep the stuff around as many like
the idea of "cheap" and you can pick up an older computer for nothing
these days (I have a bout 3 pallet loads that I keep for spares). It
is also a good way to be introduced to C as one can follow the coding
to see how it is done. This is where I learned the little (darnd
little) bit of c myself. As for a LOT of people, yes; I have had
contacts litterly from around the world. When ever I get a new
contact, one of the questions is where they are located? Kind of like
collecting QSL cards :-) About the only major land masses that I
have not heard from are South America and the Russian continents.
Other than that, the globe is pretty well covered!
As for pics, I'm looking forward to that as I have been asked to get
involved in a project that will use one. This should be "fun" as I
will be starting from scratch and have to develop the coding
myself. I plan on breaking it down into (real) simple steps and make
it work that way. The nice thing is I can do a small piece of code,
get it working and then re-program the chip with the next step.
Should be interesting!
