emc woes

I have been trying to install emc BDI 4.29, BDI 4.30, and BDIlive
rc46, on 3 different PCs, more than 20 sessions, over a period of 6
weeks, and keep getting the exact same result.
CDrom cannot be mounted to load in the update for the universal
stepper controller.
I need this machine to run, and desperately need help, to the point of
paying someone to configure on of my PCs, or buy a pre-configured pc.

comments? suggestions? criticisms?
