Thanks for the prompt response.
I am completely new to Linux and the terminology, and have been
reading everything I can find.
I completely missed the point that the update was NOT to be an iso.
It had occurred to me that the update would only work with live, but I
was not certain, which is why I tried every combination I could think of.
After jumpering the control board to simulate the e-stop circuit per
the schematic, I was unable to reset the e-stop with any of the
installations, but there is probably a lot more I am missing here.
I'll poke along at it tonight armed with new info.
I'll also try to document the errors and/or progress more carefully,
so i can better nswer questions.
