Hi,
I can't recommend a supplier as I've not bought them myself I just know they
exist. Try a goggle search: I came up with:
http://www.dirtbikestore.co.uk/acatalog/DirtBikeStore_com_Miscellaneous__90.
html
http://www.miprcorp.com/
If one set isn't long enough join them together. The other thing you could
do for your metal spring thingy is: I have a round tin of metal shim which I
bought many years ago from a model engineers supplier, if you pull out the
shim from the centre you have a metal spring thingy for the protection of
leadscrews. In other words make your own.
Regards,
Terry
| OK, I have about 2-3 inches of unused screw travel the saddles leftmost
| position. I'd like to be able to go out to 20 inches. Will bellows do
that?
| The screw is 5/8" diam...
|
| Can you recommend a supplier?

| Hi,
|
| If you have the room why not fit a gaiter similar to the ones fitted to
| motocross/trail motor bike front forks. They are very cheap and come in
| different lengths and sizes.

|
| Ball-Screws and Actuators sells circular brushes with holders for
fitting
| on
| the ends of the ball-nuts to keep out dust (swarf). A firm by name
| "Sealeze"(?) makes circular BRASS brushes for same purpose. NICE
stuff.
| Bring money!
