We've never had board or motors connected to this thing (yet); just
running EMC in simulation on the PC. What do you mean by 'periphery'?
What settings should I check I safe mode?
I skimmed the FAQ over at the EMC site with not much luck. Checked a
couple other trouble-shooting files over there as well with equal
results.
My 'expert' is 350km away right now and cannot get here to help. On
our own, more or less.
Thanks,
Keith

Since May I am not able to throw windows away, because neither me nor my
professor from tecnical high school were able to get it running. It
sounds like you need to set up right the perifery. And if your EMC set
up allready and you took off the interface cards and drivers, then the
machine expects them and cannot find them. First thing run safe mode and
check the settings. Later get a specialist. That is why the "free"
software may sometimes become more expensive then the payed licence
software.
