wow! that's a _lot_ of steps to follow. I did not thoroughly read them all,
but it appears that none of the "optimization" steps are such that they
cannot be undone. So, you could just take the time and undo all the changes
one by one.

Realistically though, the only things you may need to look at are the
auto-starting programs (items 11 and 12) and services (step 13). Of course,
you won't know what you should re-enable unless you meticulously kept track
of what you disabled when you followed all those steps in the first place.
However, most of the things that you have disabled should probably stay
disabled, unless you really, really know what they do and that you need
them.

The rest of the steps either deal with various UI options or setting that
you are not likely to care about in the first place, unless looks, bells and
whistles matter a lot.

I may be wrong, but I do not believe that mach attaches your license to any
particular 'hardware configuration' or attempts any similar icky
copy-protection trickery. So, you can change the configuration all you want,
or even reinstall mach from scratch, and the license will still be valid.
