In that case, the cutter will have some range. considder the diameter
of the cutter,or rather the circumference. circumference times rpm to
get a feet per minute cutting speed.

a 1/8" tool will be much slower than a 2" flycutter. the spindle
speed is really related to the feet per minute of cutting speed. A 4
tooth end mill of 1/2" will have the same FPM as a 2" single point
flycutter.

When you get down to the tiny stuff, the 1/8" stuff, the cutting tip
FPM goes way down, so the spindle speed has to go way up to compensate.

Once you have the table running, the cutter type will have little
effect, so you do not have to re-configure the 3 axis movement because
you are cutting foam or inconel.
