Hi Lester,

I've gone surface mount since RHOS through hole parts are a lot harder to
find. Even then it's still a problem here in North America for some parts.

I'm sure some designer could probably make the ELS into a single sided board
but it won't be me.

The next version will have the ability to install a custom keyboard separate
from the main board. A single sided board that is just keys won't be to
tough to lay out so I'll probably do that too.

But, even so, there are the initial setup/tooling charges and making a
second set of keyboards still adds to the cost.

Thanks for posting the assembly manual. It was really helpful.
