Sorry Bill if your referring to these discussions re PnP robots, soldering
and the like, I think your wrong
We have waded around the subject a little, today, actually quite a lot,
(it's called brain storming all designers do it) but within it we have
discussed the abilities of several quite different CNC machines, albeit in
professional environments but from which we can establish the basis for
several home based machines. The big Pnp machines, flow solder machines and
the like don't belong in a home shop, but the video of the machine Peter
Homan showed us this morning does and really the professional stuffs just
adds ideas to what we could add to a home system. Basic Soldering ovens may
not be CNC, but some are and it's isn't worth building a home PnP machine if
you can't finish the work.
If no one had produced a professional CNC mill, the dreamers wouldn't be
wanting one in their homes, and dreams are reality here.
I personally think it's been the most productive brainstorming day we have
had on this group for a long time and we have all learnt a lot from each
other.
I am also sure some have learnt enough to go away and have a go at some DIY
home shop based stuff, which is success for the group.
I do though also think we have about thrashed it to near death, as you will
have also noticed the verosity of emails is quite subdued now compared with
this morning so it's about peeked now and on the decline, but please let it
decline at it's own learned pace.

Gentleman, I see very little in this subject that would be utilized for CNC
in the Home Hobby shop.
So Please reread the purpose of the group, and move on to something that
does apply.
Thank You,
bill
