Ted mentioned a plug in for Rhino that will produce images from
objects. It was called arch something, have a look back on the archive.

I have been looking at the SLC file formatm it is a layer by layer
description of the contours that make up the model. I'm writing
software to convert my images to SLC so I can send it to the pros, its
good because I don't have to create an intermediate 3D model.

It should actually be easier to do the reverse, SLC to BMP and I
probably will as Rhino will export SLC.

If you have Rhino try doing an export to SLC format and then import,
you will see a lot of outlines, unlike the contour command they go
around the whole model not the individual parts.
