Peter,
I would appreciate it very much if you could do a drawing in
whichever format is easiest for you. My ballscrews have a diameter of
15mm at the bearing journal area, with an overall diameter of 22mm.
I looked at both Nook and THK but never found what you described,
except photos of commercial end blocks. I did find the bearing
locknuts at McMaster-Carr. They have an AFBMA threaded collar and say
it is also called a bearing locknut, I believe from the catalog
decription it is what you are referring to.
Sometimes when you are a beginner it's hard to know enough to even
ask the right questions and know where to look for info.
If you want to put a drawing in the files folder here at
CAD_CAM_EDO_DRO maybe someone else would benefit as well as me.
