Steve is right, there are no easy and cheap solutions.

Expect to photo edit down to minimal grey levels and mask.
If fed an optimised image MeshCam Art or Rhino will do the trick. MC is not
cheap and Rhino wants your first born. Both produce rather large files :-)

Not an easy task and I do struggle with it far too often, You do want a
reasonably fast computer for either or a 6 cup coffee machine and a dog to
walk :-) Both are slow.........

PS: I moderate on the MeshCam forum for a bottle of double malt a year so
am not quite unbiased, and seldom use the Art part.
