You're a step above a simple business card by showing a result of your work. But there are two sides to a coin. A former collegue's title was "Director of New Technology" but he thought no one would know the details of what he really did. He pestered the bureaucrats who order business cards to put text on the back of his cards to further explain his work. No one else in the department had thought of that.

Thanks guy, for all the posts. Lots of material to evalute now. And most of
it looks up to the task.

I really hope I can fulfil my promise of putting the pics and process up.

My objective is to make my own business cards. Except they're not cards. I
want to engrave my details onto a S/S coin, and hand these out instead.
Sure, there's a cost to it, but the objective is that it's novelty, and it
absolutely demonstrates ones ability if you're in the field of selling
yourself in the prototype/product_development/corporate_gift market.

It's also easy to keep a few coins in your pocket. Of course, if it's just
the plumber that's calling around, you give him the paper card instead.
