Thanks for your reply. I think it is a file export or save as problem with Rhino. I dragged out an old copy of AutoCAD LT 2004 but can't figure out how to join line segments into a polyline. Looked for join and tried pedit w/o success. The only way I could find to generate a polyline was to draw a polyline which also won't work with cad2lathe since it requires exploding each tool path and joining in order.
The idea behind cad2lathe seems good but for me it isn't going to work with Rhino's dfx file output. Bob uses a different cad software and it would work with that software but I don't want to run multiple software just for this application.
Guess I am just going to have to go for real cam software but it isn't in the budget at this time. I will probably go for VisualTurn eventually.
