Yes, I have written G code for a mill (now use Rhinocam) and could probably learn to do lathe.   Some stuff I do isn't just lines and arcs so need something to handle what Rhino calls a curve.    I don't enjoy writing code and mostly just need to get the part or pattern made.
 
I was hoping that cad2lathe would just make things a bit simpler than writing code but that may not be the case.    I think that with a bit of development, especially explanation of software requirements, trouble shooting info and step by step instructions, cad2lathe would be better.   I'll probably fool with it a bit more to see if I can get it to work.   Being a Rhino user, I think it might be a great plug in for Rhino since there  isn't any rhinocam for lathe yet.

Or you could learn to write G-code. Not that hard for a lathe.
If your using Mach3, the lathe wizards are pretty good.
