Not familiar with cad2lathe but just keying off your statement " see's
my polylines as line segments". Maybe try the "Join" command before
exporting your dxf file. I have run across similar issues with cnc
Hotwire Foamcutters coming out of a CAD program. Or, cad2lathe may
have a function to Join or "alignment" maybe, some method of putting
the polylines back together in a continuous closed object.
Another issue might be when you made your drawing and say not using the
Snap functions, the polyline ends have to be right on or very close to
each other to "Join" them.
If no "Join" then maybe "Close" might do it. That rings a bell as well.
Just shooting in the dark.
