Hurco KM-3 retrofit

A neighbor asked me for help with the above machine. He is helping
another fellow who has bought the Galil DCM-1842 PCI card and ICM-2900
screw terminal board. He also has the cable to hook these together.
He would like to use the existing servo amps, but documentation is scarce.
Can anyone help with pin outs or any other info of the Hurco servomate
drivers?
Failing that, would the next best option be to gut the box and use Gecko
G320X amps?

Also, the Galil items came bundled with CNC-Lite from Camsoft. It's hard
to understand. Would it be better to use Mach3 and the Galil plugin?

One more thing, one of the Hurco limit switches has a wire broken off.
What kind of switch or sensor is this? Hurco wants an arm and a leg for it.
