As a matter of probabilities, 2 wires generally means either NO or NC
microswitches, I would assume NC, but who knows.

Check another limit switch after disconnecting it, preferably with the
same part number. If it is open until the actuator is depressed, NO,
otherwise NC. Often 2 wire switches are simple microswitches. Look at
the part and see if you can find a manufacturer's designation.

If there appears to be no actuator (button, lever, wire, etc.), try a
magnet. Once you understand what is going on, things will be easier to
work with.
