Newbie

Hello, I am a newbie. This is my second post to any e-group so I hope I did
it correctly. I am a tool and die maker/CNC programmer and machinist. The
projects that I am contemplating starting is a CNC conversion on an old Tree
mill and an old Le Blond lathe. The only experience I have in this area is I
designed and assembled a CNC plasma cutting machine with a 6'x4' bed
utilizing a kit from Max NC. It works quite well. If any one has converted a
Tree mill model 2UVR or a Le Blond Lathe and would like to be a mentor for
me, let me know. I have been following the list for a couple of weeks and am
thoroughly impressed by the knowledge base that exists here.
