Yes it is a great "package" solution that can get a Sherline or Taig
sized machine up and running very quickly. The software is updatable for
free by downloading the newest demo and installing it over your
registered copy. When the controller firmware is updated (much less
frequently than the PC software) you have to purchase a new chip for
about $25.
