Hi Bill, I'll stand corrected about the Hitachi. Evidentely they
have 3 hp with single phase input but then the higher HP goes to
3-phase input. Darn.

Looks like Fincor/Boston Gear controllers are the same.

The SF250Y from -
http://www.actechdrives.com/Documents/scf_data.pdf - state a
single phase input and 3-phase output. At $546 they seem a bit
expensive, but appear to be available.

There are other VFD manufacturers. You might try the following
