Hello Mike,

Maybe you can help me out a little bit..

I have just purchase a Camtronics 5 amp kit from Dan along with 3 475
oz-in. steppers.
I have the controller assembled and running, the problem I am having is the
motors seem to jump around a bit or sound like they are
moving but really are not.. I have played with the software setting a good
bit(maybe that's the problem)..

I am not sure exactly of what setting to use in the software as far as
speed and travel, if this is the problem..

My steps per inch will be .0005 or 2000 steps per inch. I have tried a
couple of programs and I just cant seem to get it right.

This is my first CNC project so I am learning alot..
I do not know where to start looking for the problem,,, should I try
another cable, is the problem caused by to many steps per sec.
or to few...

I will take any help at all, and like I said this is new to me so please
make it simple.
