One other thought - there is a lastdrv command (I think that's the
right name) that tells the command interpreter the name of the
last drive that can be mapped to a drive letter. Look in either
config.sys or autoexec.bat. Also, the line that sets up mapping
for a CDROM drive often had a drive letter in the command,
so check for that. It works like that on my system, and the
letter in the command is D: by default.
