Wally,

Yes, there are programs that integrate right into ACAD, as well as
others. Edgecam in Solidworks is pretty cool, it has an auto feature
detect and practically programs the part for you. Change the part, it'll
ask if you want G-code reposted.

Be aware however, that should you decide to move to another CAD program,
you will leave behind your investment and learning curve.

I almost bought Acucarve for Cadkey before this occured to me, and since
I'm likely to move on to SolidWorks or Solid Edge someday, I'm happy a
CAM vendor pointed this out to me. A stand alone CAM program isn't as
convenient, but will remain useful with a new CAD program.
This may not be an issue for you, but I thought I'd point it out.
