Hi Smoke,

The big problem with using ACAD is the cost of the drawing package @ over
$2000. It is easy to use after version 14 and is an industry standard. I am
a draughtsman by trade so naturally would use it over other systems. If you
don't have access to ACAD it would not be worth the cost of acquiring it as
a means to add-in the CAM elements.

The above are two URL's that pertain to the CAM software pluggins I am on
about. I don't know if they work with the Freeware version of ACAD that has
been mentioned on this list many times but I will give it a try if I buy the
pluggins. I like you am only in the research stage and would like to put my
money where I am going to get the biggest bang per buck.

I can't find the original URL for the software but it is POWER G Code and I
can send you the pages off list if you want.
