I had a demo of Vector around about version 5 or 6.
To be honest I couldn't get on with it. The way you had to draw in
the way you wanted to cut wasn't they way I worked. Perhaps things
have changed, I don't know. I'm certainly not calling Vector. After
many, many problems with Bobcad and getting nowhere with any help and
seeing how they glossed over known faults it's nice to see a company
like Vector who listen to what people want.
If I were still in the market for a CAM program and need to do 3D
them I would have looked at Vector again in more detail.
As it is I only do 2 1/2D work and the package I have is very good
for this.
