Jeff and Ron.
What you are asking for is a long term project to make a hardware
controlor. What i want to build is a simple open source controller
to generate stepper pulses. After this pulse generator is built
routines can be slowly added to enhance its capability.
We already have several software controlers to choose from that work
very well. we do not have a good stepper pulse generator.
