Nice to hear from you! I too, have learned the power of "do what I do
to make money to pay others to do what THEY do, so I can get what I
want".

In this case however, I'm hoping the collective wisdom of the list
can provide something which has been lacking in the "buy it and use
it" category. That is the 'CNC cheap black box', either smart or dumb.

The smart ones available are either proprietary and/or ridiculously
expensive, and the dumb ones are TOO dumb (intended for industrial
I/O rather than CNC style motion control.

And I think we've prob'ly got all the resources of
the "professionals", and then some...
