Hi all,

This is starting to resemble a bunch of folks in a room all talking at
once. Actually it's more like two rooms, since it seems to have spilled
over into the EMC list. I'd like to suggest we keep most of it here for
now as I think there are a lot of folks here who aren't on EMC.

While this is getting a bit chaotic, I like it. I think this sort of
"high idea density" environment is a good place to develop new ways to
do things.

Someone brought up the dreaded "designed by committee" issue, but I
don't feel that's a problem yet. We haven't really started to design
yet. We're still at the stage of throwing ideas against the wall to see
which ones stick. As Carlos said: "It seems to me that figuring out what
people are thinking is what this whole discussion is about."
