Is the problems you are having getting RedHat 5.2 up and running in Xwindows
or do you run into the problems when you try the real time patch?
What speed and brand of CPU are you using?
Are you trying to do the patch manually or using my script?
Is the system a dedicated Linux machine (no additional partitions) or are
you trying to dual boot?
How big is the hard drive?
Are you using a workstation install or custom?

Don't get frustrated. This is very workable and we have gotten many people
up and running on EMC. Tell us your problems specifically and we will get it
figured out. Using my instructions and install script I can get an EMC
controller up and running in less than an hour if the machine has reasonably
fast processor (otherwise it takes longer for the compiles)
