No, not a typo, I did say version six.
My main reason for using the newer version is for the newer libs and a
graphical installer. RH 5.2 is rather old hat now (pun intended), and with
most of the current development work on EMC being done with the 2.2.xx kernel,
it is as well to keep the linux distro up to date.
