hey rich!
congrats on getting your mill running! I am just now starting the process of
putting limit switches on. While I am using double ended motors I too found
the handwheels to cause some problems. Main they are no balanced and I found
by removing the handle and shaft and the small back nut (that you tighten
when you "zero" the handwheels) and the screw for it then they turn great! I
just put some locktite on the red handwheel markings so they turn with the
handwheel and don't chatter. So far so good also. I would love to see some
pics of your work if you get a chance. Again congrats!
