It seems to me i recently read a post from someone who preferred putting all
the sub routines at the end of his program and others who'd like to have
theirs in the middle.

I don't work with mutiple numerous types of programming language. However,
the ones I have used aren't restricted by locations of sub routines. It's
not my fault...or my problem...if the designers of some program languages
designed them to REQUIRE variables at the beginning of a program.

Back in the "old days" this wasn't required. If you've ever programmed
using basic commuter command instructions, you should know that.

And, yes, I can remember when 4K was a lot of memeory. I can even recall
working with programming before PC's were even invented.
